Indeed the test HTML works properly, which certainly means I've messed up something in my own HTML page, I'll try to figure out what. I guess it's something wrong in my main content as I'm testing on a website that was originally table-based dreamweaver-made and I've not finished to rewrite the main content.
But you're right, at least in my case, I don't absolutly need equal height columns and can fake it.

Hello Demental,

if you experience problems with "cols-equal.css", try to use "cols-equal-alt1.css" instead.

If you use WYMstyle 0.2, You can also take a look at the example page in this location in your WYMstyle directory:
"/sites/test/index.htm"

This file uses "test04.css" (in the same directory).
If you open "test04.css" in your editor, you will see that "cols-equal.css" and "navlang-topright.css" are both used. So you can take the code in "test04.css" as an example for your stylesheet.

If it doesn't work, you can point me to an example online of your problem and I will take a look.

Anyway, use of "cols-equal.css" can be tricky in various situations. Sometimes it may be better to fake columns using background images.

I've downloaded branch 0.2.1 and tested it as well as 0.2.
I'm experiecing problems using these core styles :
- navlang-topright
- cols-equals

When these two styles are imported, the nav-lang div disappears (both on safari 2 and Firefox 2)

Sorry to only find bugs and not sending a patch for them as I'm really not a CSS guru.

Sorry for the long delay. You know what it is, too much thing to do and not enough time to do what you would like to.
I've started to explore WYMstyle 0.2.1, following the explanations in the wiki. It's really intuitive, the only thing to do is to play with, great !!

So now I'll start a topic elsewhere, follow me to the support zone...

The version 0.3 is still in a too early stage of development to have documentation. It's develoment is made extremely difficult because of Internet Explorer bugs and incomplete CSS imlementation + new problems related to the version 7.

So you can always take a look to the development version of WYMstyle 0.3 but i would recommend to use only the version 0.2 for your projects.

There is some documentation in the wiki:

I'll try to complete it and write the quickstart guide for WYmstyle version 0.2 in a near future.

Hi !
I'm arno from the Tarn in France. I work as a freelance website developer.
I'm really looking for an efficient solution for the XHTML/CSS design process which is for now the main point where I still don't manage not to repeat myself.
WYMStyle sounds really promising in that way, so I'll have a look on your progress (already regularly updating the SVN version).
The main problem I have with wymstyle now is the lack of a documentation. So I'd like to know when are you planning the next release (including documentation) ?

Eep! Sorry. It found it separately from the WYMeditor forum and it looked the same, so I just overlooked the WYMstyle part.

I believe the execCommand command string "insertparagraph" will insert a paragraph tag. We have not corrected the handling of Enter to add P tags.

Oops, you're in the WYMstyle forum, not in the WYMeditor forum ...

Anyway, thank you for your message.It's great to have your support.

In fact, the 0.1 version doesn't work well in Opera: there's some issues in the Javascript code that need to be fixed.
I'll soon work on the 0.3 version, which will use jQuery. I think Opera is well supported by jQuery, but I'm firstly focusing on IE and Gecko compatibility.
Compability with other browsers (Opera, Konqueror, Safari, ...) is planned for further versions.
BTW, I have a question: how do you create a new paragraph in the editable area ? In IE and Firefox, you just have to press Enter - in Opera, this action inserts a <br> ...

I noticed that the 0.1 version seems to function in Opera 9.02, but 0.2 does not. It's throwing a JS error. The problem seems to be in the editor() function, since Opera will return false for both the "moz" and "ie" variables in 0.2.
